If the Provisional Chapter fails to meet any of the above outlined requirements (e.g., fewer than 30 members, failure to register as a student organization, violation of REI policies), REI reserves the right to revoke Provisional Chapter status.
Upon revocation:
The student organization must be dissolved at the University.
All social media account login credentials must be transferred to REI.
Access to REI branding, Shared Drives, and proprietary resources will be revoked.
All REI-branded materials created by the chapter must remain in the chapter Shared Drive and are the property of REI.
The University and any relevant administrators or organizations will be notified that REI is no longer affiliated with the group.
Failure to comply may result in formal reports to the University administration and/or legal action.
VI. Exceptions & Special Considerations
In rare cases, REI may grant an extension if the Provisional Chapter has made significant progress but has not yet reached 30 members. These extensions, limited to one additional semester, are granted at the sole discretion of REI leadership.
